| Summary | 0012751: More permanent python server | ||||||||||||
| Description | Currently the python server that provides a prefetching/caching/translation between KEGG's SOAP interface and Visomics's RESTful interface is hosted at paraviewweb.kitware.com:8090 (aka amber11). It's running under my user, and has a cronjob to restart it if the process ever dies. There are 2 issues with this setup: *It's not accessible externally. Matt Bowman can set up a new external subdomain to forward connections (e.g. visomics.kitware.com:80). We just need to decide on the name. *It's running as a process of my user. We should at least set up a shared user and run the process under that. | ||||||||||||
