| Summary | 0002374: SNL: Cache limit on geometry cache | ||||||||||||
| Description | Geometry is a double edged sword. Nice to have the geometry cached so that second play is fast but for big data can overrun memory. I would like the geometry cache to have a memory limit. Perhaps 100M default. If this is straight forward than please implement for 2.4. If this is hard than we can push off until 2.6. :) | ||||||||||||

Unfortunately, implementing this (without a hack) has to wait until after Utkarsh is done with process module refactoring (support for multiple servers and clean separation of render/data servers). |
